by Gila Espinoza 2 Nov 2016 8:32 AM

To celebrate six seasons, the Bruce Wood Dance Project will offer an evening of original contemporary dance on Nov. 11 and 12 at Dallas City Performance Hall. SIX November, will include a revival of the suspenseful ballet noir, “No Sea to Sail In,” created by late founder, Bruce Wood.

Two world premieres will also complete the program. “Klezmer Rodeo” is a high-spirited commissioned work from the award-winning Kararzyna Skarpetowska. And “Bloom” is a collaborative work by the company’s Artistic Director Kimi Nikaidoh, and Multimedia artist and Aurora co-founder, Shane Pennington.

Go early to the performances and hear the Artist’s Talk in the lobby at 7:15 p.m. Stay after the performance and catch the after-show q&a. But the first thing you should do is sign up here for a chance to receive a pair of tickets to the Saturday, Nov. 12.

Be sure you also take the time now to sign up for our other Big Deals this week: tickets to “All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914” at the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts: or tickets and book to the DMA’s Art & Letters Live: Hannah Rothschild: Art, Mystery and Intrigue.
