The Big Deal: Bishop Arts Theatre Center Presents ‘Black Nativity’

by Marcela Sanchez 20 Nov 2019 1:31 AM

For the 16th year, the Bishop Arts Theatre Center will present “Black Nativity.”  Langston Hughes’ joyous story of the birth of Christ has transformed the Bishop Arts Theatre stage into a gathering that unites artists and audiences of different ages, backgrounds, and beliefs through the heart-stirring power of song, story, and dance. With an inspirational score, “Black Nativity” is an Oak Cliff tradition that shares the unforgettable story of the Nativity through compelling gospel music and the beautiful poetry of Langston Hughes. Kickstart your holidays by entering to win one pair of tickets to the opening night performance on December 5.

And after signing up here, keep up the holiday spirit and check out our other holiday Big Deal – tickets to Christmas with Fort Worth Chorale in Bedford. Or enter for a chance to see the mega-hit musical “Miss Saigon” at Bass Performance Hall in Fort Worth.
