Stereotype-defying, violin duo Black Violin, will be visiting Dallas as part of their national tour “Impossible.” Black Violin, classically-trained violist Wil B. and violinist Kev Marcus, play multi-genre music influenced by classical music and hip-hop. Black Violin calls it their “classical boom.” The young pair of musicians have played alongside Kanye West, Aerosmith, and Tom Petty and collaborated with Alicia Keys, the Wu-Tang Clan, and Wyclef Jean. Black Violin’s last album, “Stereotypes,” was #1 on the Billboard Classical Crossover list and #4 on Billboard’s R&B Chart. Don’t miss this chance to treat yourself and three friends to see Black Violin on March 23, at Strauss Square in the Dallas Arts District.
