The Big Deal: AT&T PAC's Brinker International Forum – Roz Savage, Feb. 21

by Sonya Jones 15 Feb 2012 7:21 AM

What’s it like to be a million oar strokes from your destination, tossed alone in a tiny boat?

Roz Savage is a one-time management consultant turned full-time rower, environmental advocate, and inspirational speaker. Coupled with her solo row across the Atlantic in 2005-6, she has rowed over 11,000 miles, taken 3.5 million oarstrokes, and spent cumulatively nearly a year of her life at sea in a 23-foot rowboat. Her personal creed of taking life “one oarstroke at a time,” and her promotion of the EcoHero movement, has inspired countless people around the world.

The Big Deal is giving away FIVE pairs of tickets to see Roz Savage speak as part of AT&T Performing Arts Center’s Brinker International Forum on February 21st at the Winspear Opera House.
