Mark your calendars because this Saturday is the 4th annual ARTsPARK! Presented by the Business Council for the Arts and NorthPark Center this fun, free event features 50 arts and cultural organizations from Dallas, Collin, Denton and Tarrant counties, who all come together with the purpose of encouraging citizens to make art part of their everyday lives. There will be demonstrations, live performances and lots of opportunities to get connected to the arts. To find out more about ARTsPARK click here. In honor of ARTsPARK the Creative Arts Center in Dallas is offering an individual membership and one free class or workshop valued at $300. The lucky Big Deal winner can choose from any of the classes or workshops at the CAC — think classes on book and paper arts, ceramics, clay sculpture, drawing, fused glass, jewelry, metal arts, mixed media, mosaic, painting, photography, and stone carving. (Classes with Bowman Hot Glass or out of town workshops are excluded.) The next session starts June 4.
