The folks at Art Conspiracy sure do know how to throw a great shindig. They should. They’ve had 10 years to practice. The street-level art philanthropic group brings musicians and artists together to raise money for local creative groups and programs. This year’s beneficiary will be the Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico.
ART CON X will feature an auction of more than 100 works from local artists giving you the opportunity to purchase original artwork. And while you are waiting for the bidding to start there’ll be plenty of things going on to keep you busy. You can nosh on goodies at food trucks, there’ll be Live Murals, and Interactive Art Projects all the while listening to live music by Booty Fade, Son of Stan, The Happy Bullets and DJ Ceepee. Art&Seek will be adding to the fun with our very own Art Hunt. We give you clues and you look for certificates hidden in the decked out warehouse, located at 500 Singleton Blvd., in the Trinity Groves area of West Dallas. Bring your found certificate to us at the Art&Seek table to say, “Hi” and to claim your prize. Now, since the event is this Saturday, Nov. 15, we will be drawing our winners early on Friday so be sure to check your inbox before you leave on Friday afternoon. You don’t want to be reading our email first thing Monday morning.
Now is also the perfect time to browse our other Big Deals this week – tickets to the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra’s Home for the Holidays concert at Bass Performance Hall, or tickets to The Fairytale Lives of Russian Girls playing at The Undermain Theatre in Dallas.
PLEASE NOTE: Only Art&Seek e-newsletter subscribers can win the Big Deal. If you are not a subscriber then take care of that first, then sign up below for a chance to party for a good at ART CON X.
UPDATE: We have our winners. Be sure to check your inbox to see if we contacted you.
