The Big Deal: Adult After Hours Ticket Package at Fort Worth Museum of Science and History

by Anne Bothwell 5 Jan 2011 8:42 AM

Elvis will be in the building at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History this month. So will the Beatles. And, um, beetles. And, if you’re lucky, you’ll be there with three friends and some cash to spend.

The museum turns itself over to an adults-only (over 18) after-hours  every month. This Saturday, Jan. 8, the theme is Blue Suede Rock & Roll. You can dress as your favorite rock star and belt out a few karaoke tunes. Dance to DJs and a Beatles cover band, Me and My Monkey.  Create light paintings, enter remote controlled “Led Zeppelin” races and share jelly donuts with an Elvis impersonator.  The Stars Cafe will be open, featuring cash bar and food. You can also check out the museum.

This week’s Big Deal gives you:

  • 4 tickets to After Hours: Blue Suede Rock &Roll this Saturday, Jan. 8., 6-10 p.m.
  • 4 tickets to Laser Shows in the Noble Planetarium
  • 1 “Heavy Metal” t-shirt (with rocks and minerals)
  • 1 $25 gift certificate to the Stars Cafe
