On Tuesday night, Turner Classic Movies is bringing the Road to Hollywood tour to the Texas Theatre with a screening of Rio Bravo. The event is part of the run-up to the TCM Classic Film Festival in April in Hollywood.
For Tuesday’s event, TCM host Ben Mankiewicz will interview Angie Dickinson – one of the stars of the film – immediately following the movie. The whole shebang, which begins at 7:30, is free. All you’ve got to do is download your pass and show up. The Texas Theatre is huge, so there should be plenty of seats.
And if all that isn’t enough, my Big Screen partner, Chris Vognar, and I will be there to introduce Ben and Angie before the film rolls. So come out, catch a big screen classic, and hang around for what should be an informative interview.
