Consider yourself a serious Oscars prognosticator? Then catching Silver Linings Playbook is a must. The film – about a former teacher named Pat (Bradley Cooper) trying to reconcile with his wife after a stint in a mental institution – is a sure-fire best picture nominee. David O. Russell (The Fighter) could wind up in the directing field. And Jennifer Lawrence – as the troubled woman who helps Pat learn how to live again – is the best-actress frontrunner at this point.
The movie comes out on Wednesday, but since you’ve got friends in high places, you can see it at a special advanced screening Monday at 7 p.m. at the Magnolia Theatre in Dallas. All you have to do is print out a pass and get there early as seating is first come, first served. Enjoy the show and let us know what you thought in the comments.
