The Kid With a Bike was one of the most honored foreign films of last year. It took home the Grand Jury prize at Cannes and was nominated for a Golden Globe. The Belgian film follows a 12-year-old kid who is abandoned by his father and the woman who befriends him, providing the support he needs
It’s hard to pull a lot out of that plot summary, but The Kid With a Bike is currently scoring 96 percent positive reviews on rottentomatoes.com. That’s good enough for me.
