A Place at the Table, a new documentary that opens on Friday, deals with a pretty serious subject – hunger. Specifically, the millions of Americans who go hungry every day. Jeff Bridges is the de facto face of the film, but chef Tom Colicchio is also an executive producer. And Fort Worth’s T Bone Burnett did the music.
The good news about A Place at the Table is that it offers some solutions to the nation’s hunger problem. What are they? You’ll have to find out when it’s released on Friday. But if you just can’t wait until then, you’re in luck. The movie will be shown Wednesday night at the Magnolia Theatre in Dallas. And you can attend. For free.
