- In Richardson, “Zarafa Unfolding” continues at the SP/N Gallery at UT Dallas. The UT Dallas alumni-focused exhibition features artworks, installations and performances that explore the issues and identities of ‘creatives’ coming from Middle Eastern & SouthAsian descent.
- The Dallas Architecture Forum holds the annual Frank Welch Memorial Lecture as an ongoing tribute to honor the life and career of architect Frank Welch. The lecture will be delivered by Kevin Alter, founder of Alterstudio Architecture in Austin and the Richardson Centennial Professor of Architecture and Associate Director of the Center for American Architecture and Design at The University of Texas at Austin. The lecture will be held tonight at the Dallas Museum of Art.
- And just opening, “Emerge” at Armadillo Ale Works in Denton. Envision Arts presents this exhibition that highlights emerging and moderately established artists.
