- Original works by award-winning author and illustrator Melissa Sweet are on view at the Irving Arts Center. Sweet’s whimsical pictures combine watercolor, mixed media and collage and often incorporate text and found objects into the design. You can see her exhibition ‘Some Illustrator’ through Jan. 26
- The Palace Arts Center in Grapevine screens the 1983 classic, ‘A Christmas Story.’ The movie follows a young boy named Ralphie as he tries to convince his parents, his teacher and Santa that a Red Ryder BB gun would be the perfect Christmas present.
- Join in the fun with a game of Loteria at the Latino Cultural Center. There will be prizes for the winners and light food and drink will be provided.
