- The festive sounds “DRUMLine Live Holiday Spectacular” will fill the Winspear Opera House tonight. The high energy show combines the Nutcracker Suite with Gospel, Jazz, Soul, hip hop and Motown rhythms and includes a college marching band for good measure.
- In Fort Worth, indigenous plants are the subject of the BRITs’ newest exhibition “Botanical Art Worldwide: America’s Flora.” The show is organized by the American Society of Botanical Artists and features original works by contemporary American artists.
- 9th Street Studios in Wichita Falls hosts “Yo Soy: An Exploration of Identity.” The exhibition explores issues of family, identity and societal expectations through paintings, photography, printmaking and multimedia art. It’s on view by appointment only until Nov. 30.
