Calendar Highlights For The Weekend Of November 9 & 10

  • On Saturday, put your party hat on and head to The Rustic in Dallas for the KXT Turns 10 Concert. Headlining the birthday bash will be Grace Potter with Devin Gilfillian and our Tiny Cake concert winner Texicana.
  • It’s Second Saturday at the Sid Richardson Museum and that means that the museum is holding a free tour. This month, the theme of the Second Saturday tour is Survival in the American West. The tour is docent-guided and examines the grit required to live in and explore the American frontier during the 19th century.
  • In Fort Worth, Stage West presents the tru-ish story “The Lifespan of a Fact.” The play explores the blurred lines between fact and fiction in the high stakes world of publishing.
  • Head to the McKinney Performing Arts Center on Sunday to see trumpet great Sean Jones perform with The Texas Instruments Jazz Band, and the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra Jazz Orchestra.
