“Don’t Worry, He Won’t Get Far on Foot” is one of the latest film productions from Amazon Studios. It stars Joaquin Phoenix, Rooney Mara, Johah Hill and Jack Black. When an all-night bender ends in a catastrophic car accident, the last thing John Callahan, Phoenix’s character, intends to do is give up drinking. But when he reluctantly enters treatment he discovers a gift for drawing edgy, irreverent newspaper cartoons that grants him a new lease on life. Based on a true story, the poignant, insightful and often funny drama, is adapted from Callahan’s autobiography.
