The Big Deal: Bloomin’ Bluegrass Festival At Farmers Branch Historical Park

by Marcela Sanchez 9 Oct 2019 1:30 AM

Did watching the Ken Burns’ “Country Music” documentary series give you a newfound appreciation for bluegrass? Whether you are a recent convert to or a longtime devotee of the uniquely American genre now would be a good time to check out The Bloomin’ Bluegrass Festival.

The Bloomin’ Bluegrass Festival is a collaboration between the City of Farmers Branch and the Bluegrass Heritage Foundation and together they have successfully built one of the top bluegrass events in the country. This year’s festival runs October 18 and 19, at Farmers Branch Historical Park.

The festival features two stages and two days of traditional and progressive Bluegrass along with offerings of Americana and country sounds. The Main Stage lineup includes the Del McCoury Band, the Sam Bush Band, the Travelin’ McCourys and others. Check out the full lineup here. And no festival in North Texas would be complete without a selection of mouthwatering foods and an arts and crafts marketplace.

Because the festival is such a great family-friendly event, we want you to enjoy the festival with your family or group of friends. Win this Big Deal and receive weekend passes for 4. Your VIP experience package also includes a VIP parking pass, a Farmers Branch Goodie Bag, and a VIP tent, comfortably furnished with two Adirondack chairs, for your own personal use during the festival.

After fiddlin’ around and signing up here, click over to check out our two other Big Deals of the week.  For some heavenly fun, enter to win tickets to see “Sister Act” presented by WaterTower Theatre and for a wickedly fun time enter to win tickets to see Kristin Chenoweth in Concert at the Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts.

Please note: Only Art&Seek newsletter subscribers are eligible for the Big Deal. If you are not already a subscriber, you’ll want to sign up here for the newsletter first before signing up below. Winners will be selected by random drawing on Friday and will be notified by email. If the winner does not respond within 24 hours after notification, or cannot make the specified performance date, or declines the prize, another winner will be randomly chosen.

UPDATE: We have our winners. Thanks for playing. You can still find ticket information on this event on Art&Seek.
