- On Saturday, Weatherford College is set to kick off its first ever young pianists International Piano Competition. Head to the Alkek Fine Arts Center on the WC campus to be in the audience.
- Brave Combo, Tex Zimmerman, and several of the UNT Jazz bands will perform on Sunday, the final day of the 3-day Denton Arts and Jazz Festival. That’s happening at Quakertown Park in Denton.
- Also going on throughout the weekend, Art&Seek Spotlight artist Verdigris Ensemble perform an original work called “Faces of Dallas.” It combines testimonials from locals, poetry and watercolor paintings Stephen Zhang. The multi-media experience takes place at Arts Mission Oak Cliff and is part of the DSO’s SOLUNA fest.
