  • Denton’s Day of the Dead Festival is a free and family friendly event is held in downtown Denton and features a day’s worth of activities including a spooky musical, a magical parade and a delicious salsa competition. That’s not all. 70 teams have registered to participate in the fifth annual coffin racing competition. Winner takes all. Loser built a place to crawl into and die.
  • The designs associated with Dia De Los Muertos can be seen everywhere this time of year. So the Oak Cliff Cultural Center invites you to their Workshop de los Muertos on Saturday to learn all about symbolism.
  • The Arts Council of Fort Worth is hosting a Fort Worth Public Art Tour. Artist Devon Nowlin will lead the tour and share insights on works.
  • Symphony Musicians of Fort Worth are putting on a Halloween Concert at Arborlawn United Methodist Church on Sunday.
  • And in Mesquite, Eastfield College’s Department of Visual Arts present the opening reception for “Panorama: Revisions of Landscape.”
