- Local musicians including John Lefler, Salim Nourallah, and Paul Slavens perform music by singer-songwriter Harry Nilsson in “Don’t Forget Me: A Night of Nilsson.” Head to the Kessler Theater to hear the music.
- The exhibition “A Time for Greatness” looks at the 1960 campaign when America chose its youngest president. The special show at the Sixth Floor Museum includes campaign memorabilia, photographs, and film from the era.
- And in Grand Prairie, the African drum and dance ensemble Bandan Koro gives a presentation of West and South African culture at the Main, Warmack, and Shotwell branches of the Grand Prairie Public Library.
