- Parking spaces in downtown Dallas and Deep Ellum will be turned into tiny parks for the 6th annual Park(ing) Day and Night. Check out the “parklets” or get in on the competition create one yourself.
- In Fort Worth, KERA’s Jerome Weeks moderates a conversation about how organizations in North Texas are embracing the growing Latino population. Head to the Kimbell Art Museum for “State of the Arts Fort Worth: Examining the Cultural Shift.”
- And in Denton, the exhibition “Heroes in the Making: The Art of Comic Production” opens at the Patterson-Appleton Art Center. The interactive show includes original illustrations, sketches, and works by comic masters.
