The Big Deal: One Man, Two Guvnors At WaterTower Theatre

by Francesca Paris 27 Jul 2016 8:31 AM

WaterTower Theatre in Addison will present the regional premiere of “One Man, Two Guvnors.” The Late Late Show host, James Corden, earned a Tony Award for his lead performance in the English comedy.  Set in swingin’ 1963 London, “One Man, Two Guvnors” is a mix of satire, songs, slapstick and glittering one-liners. The disarming and doltish Francis Henshall finds himself trapped into working for two bosses — who are connected to each other in wildly improbable ways. He just has to keep them from discovering each other. Easy, right? Inspired insanity, high-low antics and nimble wordplay ensue — all backed by live musicians paying homage to rockabilly and a certain Fab Four. Win this week’s Big Deal to receive two tickets to the August 13 performance.
