Fort Worth Opera announced a logo makeover and a new, more user-friendly website under the vision of the new General Director, Afton Battle, in anticipation of the 2021 spring programming announcement.
The updated website, FWOpera.org, offers video content, imagery, behind-the-scenes content, as well as four new sections on the site: an expanded education section, a central hub for breaking news, the opera’s insider blog, and a new page for the company’s digital platform, FWO Green Room.
The Fort Worth Opera also updated the company logo. A shiny, red gradient “O” standing for opera is set behind the words, “Fort Worth Opera.”
According to the press release, “the company hopes this update will provide a more engaging online experience for patrons across Texas and beyond, as Fort Worth Opera brings the highly-anticipated world premiere film of Bernadette’s Cozy Book Nook to the online stage, January 14-24, 2021.”
2021 kicks off the 75th anniversary of Fort Worth Opera, the oldest continually performing opera company in Texas and one of the 14 oldest opera companies in the United States.
