Rediscover Art At The Nasher Sculpture Center

The Nasher Sculpture Center is re-opening with new rules set in place and extensions of their open exhibitions until January.

The Nasher Sculpture Center has announced it will reopen to the public on Thursday, August 20, with new hours and safety measures in place.

The new hours will now be Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ticket information and pricing are available on the Nasher’s website.

When you plan your upcoming visit to the Nasher, there are some things to know regarding their new safety protocols:

  • Timed tickets, to ensure adequate space for social distancing, should be purchased prior to your visit.
  • Contactless check-in system includes Plexi-shields at admission desks, ticket/phone scanners, and new entrance and exit pathways.
  • Upon entrance, visitors over the age of two are required to wear a face mask.
  • Disposable masks will be available for free.
  • The Nasher Store and Café are closed; however, free bottled water will be provided to all guests and items from the shop may be purchased online.
  • Hand sanitizer is available throughout the museum and ongoing cleaning measures are in place to protect visitors.

The exhibition Barry X Ball: Remaking Sculpture has been extended until January 3, 2021. Resist/Release will be on view until January 17, 2021, and Nasher Prize Laureate: Michael Rakowitz will be available to view until April 18, 2021. Also, exhibition catalogs will be available for purchase at the front desk.
