A Quick Look At Art&Seek’s Reporting

- In late April, three Dallas artists flew to a mountain village in Sicily to paint murals. None of them knew Italian. None of them had been to Sicily. Art&Seek’s Jerome Weeks caught up with trio and put together a two-part report. (Story 1 & Story 2)
- One of the nation’s hottest playwrights is New York’s Young Jean Lee. Next season, she’ll be the first Asian American woman to write and direct a play on Broadway. One of her shows is making a regional premiere in North Texas and Art&Seek’s Hady Mawajdeh spoke with the show’s star and producer/director.
- It’s June and that means it’s time for summer blockbusters to hit the movie theaters. “The Big Screen” team got together to talk about two critically acclaimed directors that will be making waves this summer.
