Art&Seek’s sister station, KXT 91.7 FM, has announced the lineup for their annual concert series KXT Sun Sets.
The series will feature Matisyahu, Alejandro Escovedo, Nikki Lane and many more locally and nationally acclaimed artists. KXT Sun Sets begins May 16 at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden and continues on select evenings through July with eight intimate concerts.
KXT Sun Sets will take place at the Camp Lawn of the Dallas Arboretum, which overlooks the shores of White Rock Lake. Given the park-like atmosphere of the venue, audiences are invited to bring food or beverages and enjoy the series on a picnic blanket or lawn chairs.
A limited number of season passes are still available when you make a one-time contribution of $225 to KXT. This is by far the most cost-effective way to enjoy all eight shows — in fact, snagging a season pass rather than eight single-day tickets is the equivalent of receiving a free show. Single-day tickets will be available starting at 10am CT on Friday, April 28.
Below is the KXT Sun Sets lineup:
May 16 — Matisyahu, Garrett Owen
May 23 — Alejandro Escovedo, Matt Tedder
June 13 — Beth Ditto, Henry the Archer
June 27 — Nikki Lane, Jason Elmore
July 11— Muddy Magnolias, Medicine Man Revival
July 18 — The Wild Reeds, Wesley Jensen & The Penny Arcade
Another performance to be announced soon.
