Welcome to the new Art&Seek. We’ve created a beautiful, image-rich home for our arts journalism and for our calendar. It’s a big change from our old look.

Welcome to the new Art&Seek. We’ve created a beautiful, image-rich home for our arts journalism and for our calendar. It’s a big change from our old look.

What else is different? Here are some highlights:

The site is responsive and mobile friendly.

It looks great on your phone or tablet.

Search is improved.

Use the drop down boxes to narrow your search by date, location (if you’ve enabled location services) or filters, such as Fort Worth Arts; Kids and Family Friendly or Arts Advocacy.

Choose to see results in a grid or a list.

Our journalism has a new home

The stories, interviews, reports and videos on Art&Seek introduce you to the people who create art in North Texas; take you back stage to see how work is created, and illuminate the many ways that art touches our lives. You’ll find everything from immersive video-rich projects like “Secrets of the Meyerson” or “Stagger Lee: Making a Musical” to the day’s news in arts. Posts on expand on the reporting we produce for KERA FM.

The Art&Seek calendar has expanded

The Art&Seek calendar has its own home page. You can bookmark it at

You can find thousands of events from more than 3,000 arts groups and venues on the Art&Seek calendar.  It is THE place to explore all the arts has to offer our community. It will also help you figure out what you want to do this weekend.

The Art&Seek calendar relies on submissions from arts groups – and from you. Submit an event.

Arts organizations can manage their own organization profiles. If your group doesn’t yet have log-in information, email us at [email protected].

Event pages have loads of practical information, including Google maps, ticket links and parking info.

You can comment on and easily share organization profiles and events across social media now.

The new Art&Seek calendar lets you:

    • Search for what’s going on in your favorite area of the arts, using filters from “free” and “kids & family friendly” to “tonight” or “near me”.
    • Find out about volunteer opportunities or what’s going on at the colleges and universities
    • Browse stunning profile pages for museums, galleries, theater and dance companies
    • Get practical information, from Google maps to parking to tickets, for the events you want to attend
    • Add events that you’d like others to see
    • Sign in to create and manage a profile for your arts organization

Highlights from the calendar are heard three times every weekday on KERA FM, and twice weekdays on KXT FM. We also highlight events on KERA FM in Art&Seek’s Saturday Spotlight and Weekend Calendar.
