It’s all about Dallas this week in Glasstire’s roundup of art openings and events from editors Christina Rees and Bill Davenport. The seventh annual Dallas Arts Fair takes the No. 1 spot this week. The fair’s happening this weekend, kicking off the larger Dallas Arts Week celebration from April 10-18.
Other highlights include the free, one-night-only “slideluck” — a slideshow of art and potluck dinner— at the AT&T Performing Arts Center at Strauss Square. Guests should bring a dish as admission to enjoy art, a DJ and hopefully, decent weather on Saturday, April 11.
And, if you’re into puppet sculptures, Jos de Gruyter and Harold Thys have some hanging at The Power Station now until June 12.
