WHERE: ART7 Gallery, 2956 Crockett St., Fort Worth
WHY: The Arts Council of Fort Worth is seeking volunteers for its 2014-2015 Business Volunteers for the Arts (BVA) program. Fort Worth professionals are encouraged to attend the informational happy hour event on Oct. 9 to learn more about the partnership between the local arts and business communities, as well as how to utilize their skills to get involved with BVA.
BVA’s goal is to bring the knowledge of the business world to the needs of the nonprofit arts community to benefit all who are involved; volunteers will gain leadership experience and a broader network while the Arts Council acquires new expertise to continue assisting local artists and arts organizations.
