The Big Screen: Reliving ‘Lone Survivor’

The Big Screen has been interviewing folks for more than two years now, but this is probably the most compelling interview we’ve done yet.

In 2005, 19 Navy servicemen were killed in Afghanistan by Taliban fighters during Operation Red Wings. Texan and Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell was the only American to make it out alive, and his memoir is the basis for the new movie Lone Survivor.

The Big Screen has been interviewing folks for more than two years now, and in that time, we’ve talked to big stars, behind-the-scenes folks and people involved in the film world on a local level. But I think you’ll agree after listening to this week’s edition that this is the most compelling interview we’ve done yet.
