Brian K. Jones, one of the famous Dallas art-duo, Chuck & George, is opening his first solo show Friday at R02Art, called “Meanwhile … back in Dallas!” Just in time for the State Fair’s Big Reveal of the New Big Tex, it features an entire series of paintings of Big Tex Classic – animated – with an eerily familiar face going up in flames.
