TACA GRANTS: Speaking of Second Thought, it”s one of the recipients of this year”s TACA Donna Wilhelm Family New Works Fund grants. Artistic director Steven Walters and writing partner Erik Archilla will use the money for a play they are working on about John Wilkes Booth. The Undermain Theatre also receives a portion of the $100,000 grant, which it will use for a play called Abraham Zobell’s Home Movie: Final Reel by Len Jenkin. And rounding out the list, Voices of Change will use its funds to commission a new work by SMU professor Xi Wang.
