Afternoon Delight: The PBS Avengers!

Iron Man 3 looks to be another billion-selling, comic-book film. So we thought we’d roll out the PBS superheroes to save the network from cutbacks (again). Carl Sagan! Bill Nye! Bob Ross! Our own thoughtful, superhero action blockbuster! Yeah, that’ll work.

Afternoon Delight is a daily diversion for when you’re just back from lunch, but not quite ready to get down to work. Check back weekdays at 1 p.m. for another one.

The network is threatened by Congressional cutbacks (again), but Carl Sagan calls on the PBS superheroes! Bill Nye! Bob Ross! Who knew someone could make an intelligent comic-book action blockbuster? It’ll be at least as big as Iron Man 3.
