DALLAS (March 21, 2013) – The AT&T Performing Arts Center continues its tradition of bringing the latest and best of Broadway to Dallas. Today the Center announced an exciting and diverse lineup of hit shows for its 2013/2014 season of the Lexus Broadway Series.

From the creators of “South Park” and winner of nine Tony® Awards, The Book of Mormon will play a limited two-week engagement August 21 through September 1, 2013 at the Center’s Winspear Opera House.  Subscribers receive priority seating, so a season subscription will be the best way to guarantee tickets to The Book of Mormon.

The season also features Peter and the Starcatcher, The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess, the hit revival of Godspell, and Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.

“Our goal in selecting shows for the Lexus Broadway Series is to bring what is current, relevant and important from Broadway to North Texas and our world-class performing arts center,” said president and acting CEO of the Center, Doug Curtis.  “We feel this new season checks every one of those boxes.”

Lexus Broadway Series subscribers will continue to enjoy a number of unique benefits,  including the Center’s inter-show ticket exchange, which provides subscribers the flexibility to exchange tickets for one show in the season for another show in the season (limit one exchange per season – restrictions apply to The Book of Mormon).

Subscription packages for Orchestra and Mezzanine seating are $380 for Tuesday through Friday performances and Sunday evening performances; and are $485 for Saturday evening performances and weekend matinees.

Subscription packages for the five-show season range from $130 for Starlight Circle seating to $1,000 for packages in the Cree Box Circle.

Season subscriptions are available now.  Information is available at www.attpac.org/broadway.  Subscriptions must be purchased by phone at 214-880-0202, or in person at the AT&T Performing Arts Center Box Office at the Winspear Opera House, 2403 Flora Street (Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Sunday 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.), or at the remote Box Office at Park Place Lexus Plano at 1025 Preston Road.
