So that’s what the Hall Ensemble decided to do. “We were looking for a niche that would not tread on other people’s territory. And the house-concert concept had not really been developed here,” Kevin Hall, the FWSO’s principal bassoonist and a founder of the ensemble, tells dfw.com.
