Congratulations to Brian Hamm of Frisco, the winner of the Flickr Photo of the Week contest!

CTA TBD

Congratulations to Brian Hamm of Frisco, the winner of the Flickr Photo of the Week contest! Brian previously won our contest in March for a shot at taken at the Granada. He follows our previous week’s winner, Anthony Najera.

If you would like to participate in the Flickr Photo of the Week contest, all you need to do is upload your photo to our Flickr group page. It’s fine to submit a photo you took earlier than the current week, but we are hoping that the contest will inspire you to go out and shoot something fantastic this week to share with Art&Seek users. If the picture you take involves a facet of the arts, even better. The contest week will run from Monday to Sunday, and the Art&Seek staff will pick a winner on Monday afternoon. We’ll notify the winner through FlickrMail (so be sure to check those inboxes) and ask you to fill out a short survey to tell us a little more about yourself and the photo you took. We’ll post the winners’ photo on Wednesday.

Now, here’s more from Brian:
Title of photo: Art Boards, Transformed
Equipment: Canon 5D Mark II, Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 @2.8
Tell us more about your photo:I attended Art Conspiracy for the first time last year. The energy on display at the event, and seeing so many people come together for a cause, stayed with me for a long time. Art Con is particularly exciting for me this year. I was chosen as a contributing Art Con artist and designated one of the staff photographers helping to document the event. This photo was taken last weekend, near the end of Artist Day, when Art Con artists arrive on-site to create all of the work to be auctioned at the main event. After completing my own piece, I photographed the other artists and staff while they worked. I had some great conversations and made a few new friends. I’m so grateful to know such a talented and dedicated group of individuals!
Art Con 8 is this Saturday at 7 p.m. I hope to see you there!
