Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings says the Nasher Sculpture Center and Museum Tower are nearing a solution to the glare the tower is casting on the museum’s galleries.
Rawlings told Krys Boyd on KERA’s Think that the two sides have been testing engineering options that would fix the problem.
“They are getting down to the finalists of those options that are going, and they both agree that unless everybody’s happy, that we’re not going to move ahead. So we’ve got to get that solved, and I think hopefully in the next month or two, we will bring that to resolution,” he said.
Museum Tower is scheduled to open in January.
Rawlings appeared on Think today during a discussion about the city’s Arts District. Later this afternoon, you’ll be able to listen to the complete episode at kera.org/think.
