    Dear Paul,
Check these guys out – Blackstone Rangers. Might be a good fit for your show. Kinda early 4Ad meets noise-pop sounding stuff, and they’re right out of North Texas! Hope you enjoy.

Through the Band a Day app., I recently heard a new artist named Mirel Wagner. Her lyrics are quite dark, but are delivered by a lovely voice accompanied by an acoustic guitar. I was figuratively blown away by the tracks I heard on the app. and went right away to iTunes to purchase the album. You might want to give her a try and see if she fits your format or not.

Have you considered opening your blog earlier in the day? There are times your bloggers, who might have suggestions, might be busy on Sunday evening, yet still are listening. Does that make any sense? Kind of like Early Voting.

Thanks for the grooviest music show this side of nowhere else.

This week I heard a band called Annie and the Beekeepers.Very good contemporary/alt folk. New album is “My Bonnevile” song “Wake Up Mama” but lots of other good older stuff as well on You Tube and Amazon.
    Kyle
PS: Listened to Jeff Lyles “Cottonmouth TX” CD and see you did some music for that. Having gone to Richardsons HS in the late 70s I related to a lot of his lyrics, most of which you can’t play on the air unfortuneately!

    • Anonymous

I will check it out thanks. yeah, too bad about the FCC , but there it is.
