This weekend is your last chance to see The Understudy, a single-act show presented by Amphibian Stage Productions that takes a glimpse backstage of a Broadway production of a Kafka play, playing in Fort Worth.
The play, which the Star-Telegram calls “theater for theater people,” takes a look at the life of an understudy and is a look inside the performance world. Written by Theresa Rebeck and first performed in 2008, the play goes through the nuances of theater life for “real” actors, poking fun at celebrity castings in Broadway performances.
You can catch the show Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Details.
