On Wednesday night, the 27-year home of Arlington’s Creative Arts Theatre and School (CATS) burned — when the theater was only weeks away from selling it and moving to a new home. Now, producing director Merri Brewer tells the News (pay wall), “everything’s at a standstill.”
Firefighters are still working to determine the fire’s cause, Arlington Fire Investigator Jay Hinkle said. But the source isn’t the only thing that’s uncertain.
Brewer said she has no idea if classes will be held in the fall. She’s equally unsure about CATS’ summer camps.
