This is where you can leave your polite suggestions and comments. Please turn me on to some cool tunes.

CTA TBD

Hey, a little cloud cover and some scattered sprinkles – just enough to cool things down a few degrees for a nice break.
This is where you can leave your polite suggestions and comments. Please turn me on to some cool tunes. Hey, Paul. You doing that Bryan Street Tavern thing tonight? Back in Dallas and I might be able to make it after this show.

My four track requests this week (if you can find them):
    * Hamilton Bohannon, “Save Their Souls” from Stop & Go. It’s a bit difficult to find unfortunately.
    * Have you ever played J Dilla? “Two Can Win” is a fun short <2 min track.
    * Róisín Murphy, "Let Me Know" from Overpowered.
    * Mario Castro-Neves & Samba S.A., "Candomblé." Fun Brazilian samba great for the summer.

    • Anonymous

      thanks for the suggestions
I am indeed rocking out at Bryan Street around 11pm

Sleeper Agent is a great band Out of Bowling Green, KY that has just started to get big. Their album Celabrasion has grown to be one of my favorite albums. I’ve met the band a couple of times and their super down to earth people and deserve to be heard. They played Coachella this year and are working on their second album.

please play something from the Exile album by Sidsel Endressen (EMG). Speaking of Exiles, King’s Crimson’s tune Exiles (from Starless and Bible Black) is particularly beautiful.

King Crimson is very difficult to find downloads for (legally).

Serj Tankian from System of a Down; doing a duet with Persian siren Azam Ali on the Buckethead album Buckethead and Friends – Enter the Chicken. The track is called Coma and it is completely enchanting.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Pwfkfui_Yc&feature=colike

This is the other duet from that Buckethead album. This time Serj is paired with Shana Halligan; a different but equally angelic voice.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z30msLIhEf4&feature=colike

These also happen to be the two most accessible tracks. Would fit into the show just fine.

Also in support of their upcoming tour Dead Can Dance are releasing an new work on 8/13/2012 called Anastasis.

You can stream or download the MP3 for the track Amnesia (Radio Edit) from http://www.deadcandance.com

  • Maully

I have a suggestion! I find them to be pretty cool and their music consists of all kinds of music. It’s very fun.

    Steam Powered Giraffe:

    Honeybee – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojYK6CW8gdw

    Ju Ju Magic – http://youtu.be/Uomb3TMLxwg

Those are just two of my most listened to. But I would suggest checking out all of their songs on their newest album “The 2 Cent Show”. It’s all very entertaining music to listen to.
