The Dallas artist, who had been missing since May 31, is “home and safe.”

CTA TBD

Frankie Garcia III, the Dallas artist who had been missing since May 31, has returned home.

I just spoke with Rising Gallery’s Taber Wetz, who didn’t have a lot of details but did say that Garcia’s sister called the gallery this morning about 10 a.m. to say that he was home and safe.

“We’re glad he’s home, and we’re going to let him be with his family for the time being,” Wetz says.

We’re trying to piece together more details, but wanted to go ahead and get the news out there.

happy he’s home safe and well. Am I the only one who thinks something is just a little strange about this whole story? Why wasn’t it carried on the regular news? I’m sure at the opening of the new gallery Saturday he’s a sure bet to be the center of attention.
