Ducks on Parade. Photo: Gail Sachson

Frequent Art&Seek guest blogger Gail Sachson sent in this photo she snapped at the Nasher Sculpture Center Saturday. The baby ducks, bobbing in the water, hopped out to follow mom through the grass and toward the Richard Serra piece. A crowd gathered to watch, including Nancy Nasher, who told Gail that her father, Ray Nasher,  would have been delighted at the scene.

Julius Pickenpack at the Nasher says the 12 ducklings hatched about two weeks ago in the garden by the ponds. “The ducks will enjoy the tranquility of the garden until we find a more permanent home that is safer and more comfortable for them,” he says.

And he threw in some pix as well. You can see more on the Nasher Facebook page.

Ah, evidence for the argument that the Museum Tower glass ISN”T ruining everything at the Nasher!

Unless the ducks end up cooked, of course.
