Afternoon Delight: Wise Words on Arts Education

Arts education has been a ‘victim’ of standardized testing and No Child Left Behind (the arts pretty much don’t exist). But Sir Ken Robinson argues that our basic education set-up discourages the aesthetic and inventive thinking.

Sir Ken Robinson (with help from the friendly Illustrating Dry-Erase Marker) on why arts education is one of the  “victims” of our modern, conventional system of public education. He gets there through attention-deficit disorder, pharmaceuticals and the uses of paper clips.
