by Sonya Jones 8 Mar 2012 11:58 AM

The Writers Studio continues at 8 tonight on KERA-FM, and this week’s a great one.

CTA TBD

We hope you’ve been tuning into the The Writers Studio, Thursdays at 8 p.m. on KERA FM. Tonight, we will be having a conversation with Mary Gordon.

From the program notes:

MARY GORDON is, according to The New York Times, America’s “preeminent novelist of Roman Catholic mores,” and the author of the novels Spending, The Company of Women, The Rest of Life, Final Payments, The Other Side, and Pearl, as well as the memoirs The Shadow Man and her latest work, Circling My Mother.  Mary Gordon, a consummate story-teller with a keen eye for moral exploration, has received a Lila Wallace-Reader’s Digest Writers’ Award, A Guggenheim Fellowship, and the 1997 O. Henry Award for Best Short Story.  She teaches at Barnard College and lives in New York City.

The Writers Studio is created and produced by our friends at the Writers Garret. Check here for the full schedule.
