OK, early birds, now’s your chance! To celebrate the opening of its new exhibition, The Age of Impressionism: Great French Paintings from the Clark, the first 101 visitors to the Kimbell Art Museum on Sunday, March 11, will receive FREE admission.
And as if that wasn’t enough, the opening festivities will also include FREE musical performances by Texas Ballet Theater, Clark Griffith (better known as the second-place winner of the Van Cliburn’s 2011 International Piano Competition for Outstanding Amateurs), and the Lone Star Wind Orchestra Trio. A truly immersive Impressionist experience.
The Age of Impressionism: Great French Paintings from the Clark is the first international touring exhibition of the Impressionist collection at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Even if you miss the opening, you have until June 17, 2012 to see the exhibition at the Kimbell Art Museum. Tickets are normally $14 for adults, with discounts available for students, seniors, and children.
