The State of the Arts series of conversations with artists and arts newsmakers has been going on for three seasons now. But the last installment, featuring visual arts leaders from the Dallas Contemporary, SMU, the Dallas Museum of Art and the Nasher Sculpture Center, probably takes the ribbon for generating the most interest (see Jerome’s take on the talk) – and the most discussion (follow the comments to Lucia Simek’s summary in Glasstire).
If you missed it, do not worry. The Jan. 26 conversation at the Horchow Auditorium at the Dallas Museum of Art also happens to be the first in the series that we videotaped.
And please join us on Feb. 26, for the next installment of State of the Arts. This time, a conversation with composer Jake Heggie and photojournalist Kael Alford. Make reservations through the DMA. Hope to see you there.
