Mark Nerenhausen was the president and CEO of the AT&T Performing Arts Center when it opened in 2010 — but he was in office barely a year and a half before he was out. Wasn’t addressing the ongoing need to finish fundraising for the building’s cost was what we heard — some $40 million still outstanding.
In any event, the NYTimes reports that Nerenhausen has now been made head of a new arts leadership program at Syracuse University, bankrolled by noted literary agent Morton Janklow. It’ll start this summer.
