UT’s Harry Ransom Center bought 160 boxes and filing cabinets of photos, manuscripts, recordings and notebooks for an undisclosed sum. The South African-born author of Disgrace and Life and Times of Michael K wrote his doctoral dissertation on Samuel Beckett — at the Harry Ransom Center.
