Next weekend is actually the real, official, chronologically correct 50th anniversary of the opening of the Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth. But the museum has taken the opportunity of extending the commemorations this year (it didn’t hurt the extended media reflections that they also just got a new director).
So this week, the museum has put up its own video looking back at the creation and growth of the museum, its building, its collection and its mission. Worth watching.
